“I can’t help it!” I declared.
The response “You’re right, you can’t. You can’t help what you do or say.
You must let me do it.”
But . . . HOW?!?
By surrendering.
In fact, I need to be in a state of surrender constantly.
Why? Because I need help constantly.
Think of it as an S.O.S. situation - a distress call.
When a person is in need of help, they make an S.O.S. call and they’ll send up a flare.
My need for help - because of all the emergency situations I keep getting into - requires an S.O.S. condition on my part.
A “State of Surrender” - I must be in that state all the time.
By being in an S.O.S. mindset, I’m reminded of my constant need for divine help.
Hmmm . . .
My life must look like a fireworks show from God’s perspective because of all the signals I’m sending him!
(Let’s be frank - I need a lot of help!!)
Guess what? He loves that!
I’m not disturbing or interrupting him. I’m actually delighting him!
And let’s be honest - who doesn’t just love a good display of fireworks - especially when they share it with their child?!
Start enjoying being God’s child. He won’t mind the continuous cries for help.
He’ll enjoy the show!!
